Rex Gauge Company has been a leader in the
durometer hardness gauge industry for over 60 years.
Durometers are used to measure the hardness of non-metallic materials, such as rubber, plastic, foam, wood, etc... A durometer works by measuring the penetration of the gauges indentor under the specific conditions of a given durometer standard.
The Rex Gauge product line consists of analog and digital durometer models as well as durometer operating stands, rubber test block kits, calibrators for durometers (Rex Gauge as well as the competitors durometer models), o-ring fixtures, printers and other related accessories. Also available are Rex Gauge re-conditioned durometers in most models – please inquire for availability and pricing.
Rex Gauge models are available in ASTM D 2240 durometer Types (Shore hardness): Type A, B, C, D, E, DO, O, OO, OOO, M, R, as well as JIS, DIN, ISO, ASKER and custom durometer scales.
